Important New Australian regulations regarding SMS functionality

To our Valued Links Clients
In order to be compliant with new Australian regulations regarding SMS functionality and spam, all clients that use SMS in Links must have their chosen ‘Sender ID’ approved by our SMS provider's Compliance Team.
If a client does not have an approved Sender ID registered or change their details without prior approval, any messages sent will automatically fail.
In light of this we ask our clients to not alter their existing Sender ID name, or insert a new one, until they have been given the all clear from us.
If you do need to change or enter an SMS Sender ID, please open a Support ticket and we will process compliance for you and let you know the result.
These regulations apply to One Way SMS Accounts only (where a client can nominate their Sender ID).
There are no changes to the 2 way account system.
